Race Report 15 November 2014
Wind is my friend, so I heard someone on Saturday morning say. He also said, “If you love hills, they will reward you” all a little too deep at 5:50am at Twinnies. There was plenty of talk about which way the wind was coming from, as far as I’m concerned, it was either behind you, hitting you from the side or you were heading into it.

Lisa Ross – lets go!
For those who still want a Twinnies Tri Suit, please let me know, we need a few more to make our minimum order and I already have orders for four (4), this is an ideal chrissy present, and you are getting a quality tri suit for the subsided price of $100.
Are you going to the Chrissy party, well better bring your money along next Saturday to confirm your booking, No Money No Seat on the boat.
We had our first breakfast this season, and so keen were members to tuck in, the presentation took second place, so Doctor Bike giot bumped. Sorry Paul, but good to see club faithful Stuey Chambers turn up, seems he only made it to a green patch along Darlington Drive to offer support, alsa he is not Michelle Alchin, a lot quieter!

The Pink Marshall police reported that 3 people crossed onto the incorrect side of the road. Of those, two were first timers and have been spoken to. The other, an experienced triathlete was spoken to last week and again breached tthis week, crossing over the pink crosses. He will be suspended from competing at Twinnies for two races. Paul Woodger has again offered his expertise free of charge to take anyone around the course and share his tips and experience. He leaves the transition area at 0600 on Friday morning, if you’re keen, please let him know either through our contacts page, our facebook page or give him a call at Coast Cyclery
The committee is calling upon all members, that if you see someone doing something wrong or dangerous, speak to them at the time and let the committee know. Without everybodies support in maintaining a safe event, it could easily be closed down by the Powers that Be- Police, Council, Roads & Maritime Services.
