Congratulations to the 77 triathletes with working lights on front and back, remember the safety issue with this regard. The club rule is suspension for non-light compliance.

Congratulations to the intermediates who have stepped up to the full distance…well done. We now only have 2 boys and 2 girls in the intermediates, please encourage them as they are the stars of the future.
We had a number of twinnies members race at Woolgoolga. Well done to all….once again Twin Towns showed its prowess with First place getters Tracy Foyster, Ben Hall, Jim Collins and Manda Hall. Jenny Scaysbrook 2nd, Des Gooda 2nd and Ruth Tutton 3rd. Tarnya Sim had mechanical problems, but was the first female out of the water and led the bike until the bike problem. Tracy was actually the first female across the line beating a field of much younger women – what a champion. Ben Hall was 10th male across the line.

Spoke about tyres. Make sure you have the correct size.
25/28 available and can run lower pressures. Pressure should be correct for your weight and lower pressure will make your ride more comfortable especially on many rural roads in the Tweed. Check your tyres every 2 weeks for damage. Ask your local bike shop Coastal Cyclery, Palm Beach Supercycles, South Tweed Supercycles, Kingscliff Cycles or Storm Cycles for:
Cleanrance required for inside brake and fork.

Earliest swim time is 5.00 am
2 laps of the bike course continue past club after first lap.
Run leg turn at pole near road entrance after first lap.
All competitors doing double distance must rack their bikes on the bike stand closest to the road.
NB Any Double Distance triathlete without working lights front and back will be immediately disqualified.
