Not the best conditions on Saturday morning with the whole race being a very wet one. We had 50 triathletes who came out to get wet.
Wazza had a little spill on the pink crosses corner , he is ok but this is a reminder to be very careful on that corner and even more careful when it is raining.
Anna and Mick from Brisbane came down to do our race on Saturday… Well Anna competed whilst Mick cheered her on. Anna did the World Championships in Chicago with Tracy Foyster. Anna also competed in the Sprint Distance Championships at Robina on the 10th January in the 50-55 age group and she came second. Well done Anna and we hope to see both you and Mick down at the club again.
Congratulations to Craig Broadhurst for making it to 100 races on Saturday. Well done!!!

* Do not keep your brakes on when cornering
* Apply brakes early and make sure you have taken most of your speed off
* Apply all your weight on the outside foot when cornering
* Look where you want to go – your body and bike will go where you want it to go
