It was another beautiful day for the Twinnies Triathletes and 93 starters turned up to take on the course. Sharyn and Phil Klein have also made a return to Twinnies Tri after a 6 year break. It has been nice to see you both back on the course.
We also celebrated Travis Coleman’s 19th birthday and everyone sung the happy birthday song and Travis had that big smile of his beaming.

Weekly Handicap Winners for October were

Leading the pointscore for the month of October resulted in a tie between Craig Broadhurst and Glenn Lance so the “Russ Evans Memorial Towel” goes to both of them. I guess they can either cut it in half or swap it between each other from week to week. Actually as Glenn isn’t here today it might be easier not to tell him… A bit of Dougy humor for you all.

ATTENTION RE MEMBERSHIPS – DOUG NEIL
From season to season membership fees become due and the fact that the main club dues and “Tri Club” dues don’t always fall at the same time causes problems. The club received official notification from the main club telling us that I had 21 people on my list who thought they are financial but were not. Once again being an RSL Club member is not good enough you must also be in the “Tri Club Section”. Next time the following people attend a race could they please bring “proof of membership” or $15 your race fee entry will be $15. I apologise for this situation but unfortunately I can’t remedy it… it’s up to you. Quite often the main club have been found to be in correct so if in doubt please come to me and discuss the situation… Many thanks Doug Neil.
