We did the new course today, a lot of the competitors would have fond memories of slogging all the way up Fraser Drive. Very windy morning, which probably slowed down the pace coming back down Fraser. Everyone seemed happy with the course and felt it was safe.

We had a couple of important presentations this morning. Lee Butcher achieved her 150.lee-butcher-and-wendy-150-races

Jo Mollica was presented with his Russell Evans Memorial Towel for Point score winner October.

Dr. Bike Advice

Paul went round the course watching people, especially going into the roundabouts.  He said “most people did really well, he just reminded everyone when approaching the roundabout up the hill gear down a couple in case you do need to stop and this will make it easier to unclip and then get going again”. On the way down he said “don’t break on the roundabout, start to slow down before, it can be quite tricky navigating the turns in and out of the roundabout”.  Above all safety first.

See you next week.
