Hi All, good conditions today.
Matt Lance reached another milestone today, 150 races. Congratulations Matt.
Matt has been a long time club member and still holds the record for the longest speech on Presentation night. This will never be surpassed – it was funny, eloquent and a showed how great the Lance family support and nurture. Well done.
Congratulations to Ben Hall – 2nd place in Canberra on his quest for a place in the Worlds to be held in Rotterdam.
Random draw winners:

Well done and thank you to Vicki for another great breakfast. Wonderful fruit salad, and home made chocolate and banana cup cakes. Amazing….We also raised $54 to donate to DV Connect. Thank you everyone.
See you next week.
We did the new course today, a lot of the competitors would have fond memories of slogging all the way up Fraser Drive. Very windy morning, which probably slowed down the pace coming back down Fraser. Everyone seemed happy with the course and felt it was safe.
We had a couple of important presentations this morning. Lee Butcher achieved her 150.
Jo Mollica was presented with his Russell Evans Memorial Towel for Point score winner October.
We are having breakfast next week. We would like a gold coin donation, this will be given to DV Connect for their great work in assisting people suffering domestic violence.
Thank you to the marshalls this week Tracy Foyster, Danny Warner, Mighty Mouse and Ian Curnow.
Col Woodward, Jenny Curnow and Jo Mollica
The Christmas party will be held on the 4th December 12.30 lunch – $10 per person. The club is subsidizing this, so please support your club and come along. RSVP by 26th November. It will be held Cabarita Lakes Resort.
Dr. Bike Advice
Paul went round the course watching people, especially going into the roundabouts. He said “most people did really well, he just reminded everyone when approaching the roundabout up the hill gear down a couple in case you do need to stop and this will make it easier to unclip and then get going again”. On the way down he said “don’t break on the roundabout, start to slow down before, it can be quite tricky navigating the turns in and out of the roundabout”. Above all safety first.
See you next week.
